• portraits of his father, wife and relatives;
• buildings and architectural structures that have made him famous, such as the “Trajan’s Column”, the “Forum Traiani”, the “Aqua Traiana”, the “Via Traiana”, the “Bridge over the Danube” and more;
• some monetary representations that recall the military victories attributed to him, as in the case of the Dacian wars and the conquests of empires such as Arabia and Parthia;
• some historical curiosities that are rarely portrayed, as the “Adlocutio”, the “Alimenta Italiae” and the “Numi Metallorum”;
• a brief and clear overview of the coinage in the Roman provinces, to understand how the Emperor was considered outside the boundaries of Rome.
At the end of the book was included a section entitled “ADDENDUM” where it was given a clear and concise method of reading an ancient Roman coin, as well as a glossary with the meanings of the major imperial titles.
